IDEMIA selected as Technology Partner by DIAL for DigiYatra

IDEMIA, a global leader in identity technologies and biometric solutions, today announces that it has been selected as a technology partner by GMR Group for DigiYatra. “Digi Yatrais an industry-led initiative coordinated by the Ministry of Aviation in line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Digital India vision to transform the nation into a digitally empowered society.

Over the past year and a half, IDEMIA has worked tirelessly alongside DIAL in developing solutions and delivering a live POC. Our solution was successfully tested and IDEMIA was finally awarded the contract. Under this contract, DigiYatra will use IDEMIA’s facial recognition technology in Delhi, Hyderabad and Goa to verify the identity of domestic travellers, making terminal entry and airport security clearance a seamless, hassle-free process. hassle and paperless.
