Listed among the top 15 agrochemical companies in India, Best Agrolife Ltd. he recently received three other major recordings. BAL informed on Friday that the Central Insecticides Board & Registration Committee (CIBRC) has granted the Indigenous Technical Production Registrations of 94% minimum technical Diclosulam, 96% minimum technical Boscalid and 95.5% minimum technical Dimethomorph to one of the its wholly owned subsidiaries Best Crop Scienza Pvt. srl.
Diclosulam is a broadleaf herbicide that is used to control weeds in soybean and peanut crops, while Boscalid is a foliar fungicide against a broad range of fungal pathogens in a wide range of crops, including vegetables and other crops. It inhibits spore germination and germ tube elongation and is also effective in all other stages of fungal development. Dimetomorph is a systemic fungicide that protects potato, tomato and grape crops from fungi of the water mold family, such as root rot, canopy rot, downy mildew and downy mildew.
“These records are critical to our business and will enable us to better serve the farming community. In addition to manufacturing engineers, we also plan to develop their highly sought-after formulation products, which will further expand our product line and help us maintain our 30% growth and 20% EBITDA margin target,” She said Mr. Vimal Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of BAL.
“For example, Metiram 44% + Dimethomorph 9% WG and Dimethomorph 12% + Pyraclostrobin 6.7% WG are the main formulations of Dimethomorph while Boscalid 25.25 + Pyraclostrobin 12.8% WG is the first formulation of Boscalid. As technical approvals for Metiram and Pyraclostrobin are already in place with the company, we can now develop these products in-house in both the technical and formulation segments”, Mr Vimal Kumar added further.
It is significant to mention that BAL has recently become the first Indian agrochemical company to produce both AI and Pyroxasulfone formulations after obtaining CIB registration for domestic production of Pyroxasulfone 85% WG. The company is also poised to launch the long-awaited fungicide Tricolor, a combination product Trifloxystrobin 10% + Difenoconazole 12.5% + Sulfur 3% Sc.
